INGREDIENTS
2 tbsp Cornflour
½ tsp Garlic powder
1 Packet firm tofu, cut into cubes
Vegetable oil, for drizzling
4 tbsp Soy sauce
2 tbsp Miso paste
3 tbsp Cape Coastal Wild Flower Honey
1 tbsp Sesame oil
1 tsp Minced garlic
1 tsp Minced fresh ginger
¼ cup Water
METHOD
1. Combine cornflour and garlic together in a small bowl. Add the tofu and stir to coat.
2. Drizzle with a small amount of vegetable oil and air-fry at 200°C for 15 minutes, or until nicely golden and crisp.
3. Mix all the remaining ingredients together in a small pan and heat on the stove top on medium. Stir until the mixture thickens slightly .
4. Add the prepared tofu to the pan and toss in the hot miso glaze.
5. Serve over coconut rice (or plain rice if you prefer) and crisp vegetables.
